Sorry we have not been able to post much these days. Everyone was at the Pixar Moma Exhibit. Look for some new stuff in the next week or so. (at least from me)
Thanks Andrew, I always appreciate your pearls of wisdom. Always good to see the animation Canuks kicking butt!
Ohh I can’t wait to see some images, since I can’t fly over there.
Wish I could have gone to the MOMA exhibit. Ronnie’s done a real sweet job of showing us unfortunates a little peek of the amazingness of the gallery there. Maybe I can get my paws on their catalog…
Awe man, by the photos that Ronnie posted, everyone must have had a blast! Wish I could have made it guys for support.
Where will that Pixar exhibition head to next? Please don’t say back to storage! Argh….
I’m going to HAVE to drop by the MOMA to check this out! I’ll have to see if I can escape my shackles free for the weekend.
I just want to say this blog is a great source of inspiration for students like myself, hoping to break into the industry. Thanks for the info, its really encouraging. Keep it up!
I was able to see the exhibit, twice actually. It’s amazing! The artscape and the giant zoetrope had my jaw to the ground, not that it wasn’t already from all the great artwork. For anyone who can’t make it due to locations, buy the book that is sold through MOMA’s bookstore. It has just about every piece that’s in the exhibit, and definitely worth it!I’ll be at the lecture on colorscripting, to make up for missing last Friday’s sold out lecture by Lasseter.
GREAT WORK DOCS!
I just ordered my copy of the book from MOMA’S website!!!. I hope the exhibition makes its way to Canada.
Is the exhibit coming to L.A. as well? I would love to see it if it did. Can’t go to New York when you have no money. I will buy the book though from the MOMA’s website. Can’t wait to see it if it does come down here to So. Cal!
So wish I could check out the Moma exhibit, just a tad too far away. I’ll most definitely will have to pick up a copy of the catalogue online. Is the exhibit going to LA by any chance?
