Really great short. I loved how snappy it was. One thing I did notice was that the top hat was invisible in the mirror just after Presto removed it from the drawer. Was this intentional?

Just... thx to the all Pixar crew...

Presto stole the show and the movie for me. I laugh so hard...
Wall E is fantastic; I was just not into it unfortunately...

Marketing guys should learn to make trailers and stop showing so much and ruining movies like that… Anyway, I know I’ll be alone on that,. Fantastic amazing work and thx again to make so many people dream during few hours…

In Wall E, Can I found somewhere the explanation on the weird choice of Real Human footage for the Past?
For Presto, How close is the final movie from the initial storyboard.

Take care and thx for this great blog too.

WALL-E: Wonderful film. The technicalities are all solid. I was holding my breathe for the next Pixar film. Now I'm breathing easy. What was inspiring was the story, for me, above all. No shying away from the politics in the "given circumstances", but enough character to entertain as well, not just lecture. Nice balance.

Presto had me rolling! The way you guys kept turning it up, I couldn't anticipate it! Ah, breath of fresh air. I really loved the audience reactions, it was the icing on the cake. Wonderful work.

Yeah I've been framing through it lately too and that linear motion blur is a killer. It's becoming more and more noticeable to me throughout our films...bummer. =/

This short was very very funny. It seemed very different to previous Pixar shorts, almost a Warner Bros. slap stick feel, but much funnier. Great job!

I saw it in the theater and downloaded it first chance I got also. Of course, I framed through the entire short just to study as much as I could. Very well done! I think that the motion blur serves it's purpose fairly well, but like Brad Bird always says, it's so linear. It does the beautiful animation little justice becuase you can't get the great arcs that you guys include in the shots. But when everything is moving so quickly it's not so distracting.

Once again, amazing work!

Just seen it. Was very impressive. Well done guys!
What would be your work flow for any of scenes in the film? I would have no idea how to take on such complex animation. Would you block it out in linear or....?

Thanks and congrats again!

Hey, thanks for volunteering to answer questions -- that's really awesome. I have two, if you wouldn't mind:

How on Earth did you develop the mouth movements for the "ahem"? It's just one word and only about one second long, but there's so much business going on with his lips and tongue.

And is that Statler and Waldorf in the balcony at about 2:38?

Wall E got released yesterday in Mexico, congrats for all the hard work, it showed in the film, I loved it!!!

One of the best films of the year!

Also, Presto was amazing!!! Man, I can't wait to see both again! My girlfriend and me took our little brothers and we all had a blast!

I love the effect of Pixar shortfilms, same studio, completely different stories and styles.

Again, congratulations,
