Richard Williams Spline Cast
Richard Williams stopped by the studio the other day. Myself and fellow animator Holger Leihe, who worked with Richard interviewed him in the Lucky 7 Lounge. It was a pretty short interview but really turned out great. It will be available on iTunes. Richard Williams just finished the DVD version of the animators survival kit which can be found here. Enjoy the interview.

Well i am a student………3d modeler and have just started to explore this wonderful world of CGI and i have not completely but read few pages of animators survival kit. This interview was so informative and entertaining. This reminded me of my favorite show “The Jungle book”, which I used to watch regularly on Sundays during my school days. Its beautiful to hear from experts and know about their experiences and their thought process going on in their mind before creating these awesome characters.

I love how the Academy of Art link got relegated to the bottom of the blog roll on the home page heh heh
Did the Pixar classes get nixed at AAU for good? I heard they had been apart of the AAU animation curriculum for like 15 years or so? Sad to news if it’s true
Stephen Vyas
