TS3 Roundtable Part 2
Finally… Sorry it took so long… The summer has been busy… I am currently teaching the 2010 animation interns and they are lots of work… Hopefully I will get back in the game of making some new podcasts. I am going to be doing one with Lee Unkrich, director of Toy Story 3.
Some other cool stuff that has been going on…. There is a cool class that myself and Matt Luhn are teaching in Vancouver on September 24th and 25th.
Also in the current issue of 3d World I did a little article on Walks. Hopefully I will be able to post all the info on the site with permission from the Mag. Stay tuned for that. Thanks for still following the site. I’m trying to keep it alive…

Long time reader, first time commenter, etc. etc. etc. Anyway, thank you guys so much for these! Great to hear some of the process behind such inspiring and heartfelt work.
And as an aside, speaking as a fledgling animator who has had next to no female role models in this biz—I used to play find-the-female-name during movie credits—I could stand and cheer at hearing the prominent female voices in these roundtables. Not to reduce everything to identity politics, but I just want those animators to know how much it means to other rising and aspiring female animators to hear from them. Thanks for sharing, everyone!

Awesome podcast. It’s sooo helpful to students like me to hear from you guys. Please keep up the good work!

Btw: the podcast rss feed isn’t working and hasn’t been working for months. Would be cool if you could get around and fix it.
Chris
The iTunes feeds don’t seem to be working for parts 1 and 2 of the TS3 cast? Getting a 404 error from iTunes when it tries to download them.
I want my Spline Doctor goodness :S
James Mcdade
Thanks for the final podcast! Would it be at all possible to talk a bit about the internships? What kinds of stuff the interns get to do, how long it lasts for etc? It sounds like quite a blast from what Iv seen and heard online!

Very good listen, thank you! Most interesting for me was the exacting direction animators had to follow for their given shots. It would be good to hear more about the directors and their little quirks on directing, as I’m sure they’re all different…Keep up the good work!
Issam Z.
Awesome podcast Andrew!
Keep up the great work.

Great Podcast guys. I assume you’re aware of it but for months now your feed hasn’t worked in iTunes. You might want to check it out.

hey guys,
would it be possible to update your podcast site on itunes. The John Kahrs interview isn’t there, and I think there are a few others missing as well.
Ju-osh
These interviews were a real treat. Thanks so much for doing them…and posting them…and leaving them up long enough for a slowpoke like myself to finally get around to them.

I have read some good stuff here. Certainly worth bookmarking for revisiting. I wonder how much effort you put to create such a wonderful informative website.
